[Noisebringer - Oblivion]

Nice adaptation

Pretty sweet song, I listen to a lot of hardstyle, I'm also trying to become good at producing so constructive criticism is coming XD
Me personally, I would have the liked the intro longer and the mid intro
shorter as it took quite a while to get to the mid.

The kick, in the mid, was pretti sick, although, you may want to keep experimenting to make a pitched kick, that would complete this song.

To be honest, I didn't really think the vocal sample was brillant, try and make your, something like the pros XD.

The lead was interesting :D maybe not hard enough, it sounded a lil 8 bit. Although it still worked, but not really main stream hardstyle.

And finally, the sound at 3:11 may want to be mixed better, it was a little too loud, sudden and hard compared to the rest of the track.

Well please correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I think :D great song, keep it up!

Hehe, first of all thanks for the review, yes i was actually going for a 8bit sound with the lead, and well i tried to give it my own touch, rather than it being mainstream, but i see where you're coming from. i'll have a look and turn the effect at 3:11 down a bit see if it works out well, the vocals just kinda went in there, just thought it went well with it all lol. But yeah, thanks again for the review :) glad you enjoyed it!

okie, I'm gunna review as I go along, the intro was sounding nice, until the that synth came in 0:10, it's just a little bit to high pitched! maybe on the last note of the that synthy bit, carry it on, like u do later so it flows better.

1:35 I like that sound :D did you make it?
1:47 lol again with the high pitched noises.
2:03 you could try and fade that sound out a little better

I don't know what you think, but having a slow rythmic beat through this piece would add a lot of texture to it, and just generally make it sound nicer. try and find some nice clap samples XD

yeah sorry about the high pitched noise i was trying to make some kinda efffect but i failed

1:35 i think used a loop and a drum effect

2:03 messed up on the fade out

also a little tip turn it a little down at :10

I know how you feel!

Lol, getting no reviews suck, that why when you mentioned this song I decided to check it out and review it :D I'm nice like that.

Anyway, I don't know what you are using right now, but if you want to make more of this genre, I seriously recommend 'blutonium boy sample pack', it has vocals, bass drums, bass line, some example leads!

You made need to EQ the main synth (turn up the bass) to make it sound more epic. The actual hardstyle bit was bit short and there was a to bigger gap inbetween the orchestral and the main melody. And finally the tempo needs to be faster.

So all in all improving! Please check out my hardstyle track!

- I do agree that something was lacking with the lead, even though I couldn't put my finger on it. I probably edited out too -much- low freq to make room for the sub-bass. I'll keep that in mind.
- I would say "to each his own" on the tempo, but I can't deny that it does help with some hardstyle tracks.

This is all duly noted. I'm putting the utmost effort into my next nu-style track. Thanks again.

Getting there!

Okay first of all, there was no hardstyle intro, and the leads were weak. There was no bass to this track or a deep bass drum to make the 1:47 more interesting. Well, with more practise you could make it! Keep it up!

- I wholeheartedly agree, the leads were weak (as I was experimenting with self-made synths) and the breakdown was cheesy. It's a really old song, though. It was made almost a year before Holy War, and I've improved since then. Trust me.
- I edited the hardstyle intro out. If you REALLY want to hear it (I don't recommend it), you can find it on my YouTube or Bandcamp page.

You've helped inspire me a little. As soon as this school project is over, I am making a hardstyle mix to one of the songs. I'll remember to contact you first on its release.

Over powering

You may want to reconsider your choice of instruments because your bass and leads were very loud and over whelming, the whole way through. You want to consider getting a sample pack for the drums cause the sounds weren't amazing.
Well good try and keep it up.
